‘Hard luck’ JV boys lose in extra innings

A couple of years ago DeSoto County junior varsity baseball coach Monty McLeod called his squad the “best one bad inning team” he’d ever seen.

McLeod is now on the varsity coaching staff and hasn’t seen the new BOBIT team from DeSoto County. The current JV team has lost several players due to injury and has been getting by with nine or ten players suited up.
