On April 7 four seniors from the DeSoto County softball team played the final home game of their career. The night was filled with emotion as Jillian Deriso, Shelby Cross, Debbie Brown and Victoria Cross walked with their family through an arch of raised bats held by the varsity and junior varsity softball players.

There were comments such as “I can’t believe this is MY senior night,” and “This is really kind of sad.” This year’s seniors were probably four of the most different players on the team.
