Ten DeSoto County High School varsity players recently attended the Florida Southern Team Camp. This is nothing new to the varsity squad, as DHS players have been doing this for close to two decades.

“It’s a good camp for us,” Coach Laura White said. “It’s usually held right after school gets out, so the girls start the summer with the camp, and then we follow up the rest of the summer with open gym, working on skills and getting in the weight room.”
