With less than a week left in his tenure as CEO of Venice Regional Bayfront Health (VRBH), John McLain said everything is in place for his successor to come in and continue the progress he has been overseeing.
VRBH has preliminary state approval to build a 210-bed replacement hospital just southeast of the Jacaranda roundabout that McLain thinks will be confirmed after an administrative trial this summer. The existing hospital would continue to provide emergency services.
