One of the many community events that the Venice Gondolier Sun sponsors is the Best of Venice celebration where the best businesses and community organizations are named, as voted by the newspaper's readers. Here, Donna and Mike Pachota won so many awards for Sharky's on the Pier, Fins at Sharky's and Snook Haven that Mayor John Holic was requested to help them hold their awards at the Best of Venice ceremony.
