Officers resume normality after Irma

Despite some flooding, fallen trees and power outages, officers in Charlotte and Sarasota counties are beginning to move to a “business as usual” mode now that Hurricane Irma has passed.

It’s a change from the 12-hour shifts all officers worked over the weekend as thousands of people entered shelters.
