Rita Bertler, second from right and representing Dollars for Mammograms, received a check from Carol Moore, president of the Englewood Florida Chamber of Commerce for $1,766. The donation was a portion of the proceeds generated from the chamber’s Inaugural “Englewood Beach 9 – Putt Putt” event on Aug. 25. More than 400 golfers traveled to nine Englewood restaurants to play a round of mini golf, have fun and help raise funds. Pictured with Moore and Bertler are, left, chamber executive director Ed Hill and president-elect Keith Farlow.
