Bill Fisher, far right, watches as water pours from a Jeep Wrangler as it is lifted from the boat basin of Englewood's Royal Palm Marina Tuesday night. According to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office and witness reports, a driver was pulling into a parking space at Snook's Bayside restaurant at 5:30 p.m., and lost control of the Jeep. The vehicle launched into the marina's channel and sank in about nine feet of water. Three people were in the vehicle, and all escaped without injury. Fisher, of Upman's Towing of Sarasota, dove into the water and attached a strap so a large tow truck could lift it out. The SCSO did not have names of those involved on Wednesday.
