Ice-skating senior featured nationally

Englewood East resident Heidemarie Burke won these and other medals as an older adult figure ice skater. The 71-year-old Burke was recently featured in Health to You, a national in-house magazine distributed to 89 hospitals nationwide.

Figure ice skating isn't just for kids. Laurie Krueger, Heidemarie Burke and B.J. Hamilton prove age is not a factor when it comes to ice figure skating. Burke, a 71-year-old Englewood East resident, was featured in Health to You, a nationally distributed magazines.

ENGLEWOOD — After decades of taking photos of other people, Heidemarie Burke finds herself the cover girl for a Hospital Corp. of America nationally circulated magazine.

The quarterly magazine is distributed to 89 hospitals nationwide, according to the Health to You (H2U) corporate office. The readership is primarily adults 60 years and older.
