NORTH PORT — No one was injured in a minor Monday night house fire that saw neighbors spring into action to help extinguish the blaze, according to reports.

The fire, which took place at a home in the 5400 block of Talbrook Drive around 9 p.m., started on the rear screened lanai of the home, according to North Port Fire Marshal Michael Frantz.
