Pat Wright of Placida snapped a photograph of a bobcat behind her house recently. Bobcats are usually seen at dawn or just before dark, she said. Their diet consists primarily of mice, raccoons, opossum, armadillo, birds, snakes and squirrels, and they generally live in conservation areas.
