Law enforcement community buries one of its own

Nearly 500 family, friends and law enforcement brothers and sisters turned out Friday at Deep Creek Community Church for Brad Murray's funeral service.
PUNTA GORDA — Ahead of Friday’s funeral for his co-worker and friend, Sgt. Karl Steele of the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office described Brad Murray as a “hell of a man.”
“That’s all there is to it,” he said. “And you never saw him alone, because he was always hanging out with somebody. He just enjoyed life to the fullest.”
