ENGLEWOOD — Narcotics detectives arrested an Englewood man Thursday on multiple charges, alleging that he sold them cocaine on two different occasions. In January, undercover operatives made arrangements to purchase crack cocaine from Thomas Duane Baggott, 57, of the 700 block of Bertrend Street in Englewood. They met with Baggott and bought $100 worth of the drug from him. The substance purchased tested positive for the presence of cocaine. The operative was able to positively identify Baggott as the person who made the sale.
In mid-March, detectives again arranged a meeting with Baggott for the purpose of purchasing crack cocaine. The undercover operatives met with Baggott and again paid $100 for a substance that tested positive for cocaine. Baggott was located Thursday and charged with two counts each of sale of cocaine, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held on a total of $90,000 bond.
