SARASOTA COUNTY — Florida Gov. Rick Scott on Friday announced the appointment of Bridget Ziegler as a Sarasota County School Board member, filling the vacancy created by Carol Todd, who resigned in April.
Ziegler, 31, of Sarasota, is a commercial agent and an account executive at Al Purmort Insurance. She will fill the vacancy on the board’s District 1 seat for a term beginning Friday and ending Nov. 11, according to information released by the governor’s office.
