Twelve students from all three traditional Charlotte County high schools will be working on bridges this summer — cultural bridges.

The students, along with chaperones, will be traveling to China on July 18 to study abroad, said Ellen Harvey, Charlotte County School’s curriculum and instruction specialist for fine arts and world languages. The students will be studying at the Beijing Royal School, while also taking in the sights around the ancient country.
