NORTH PORT — A weeklong online predator sting netted 11 arrests, including an Englewood man who allegedly used Craigslist to solicit what he thought was the mother of a 12-year-old girl, to allow him to have sex with the child, the North Port Police Department announced Friday.

Jeffrey Robert Hampson, 41, a 17-year veteran of the Air Force, met with the mother, really an undercover officer, at the Little Caesar’s pizza restaurant on Toledo Blade Boulevard in North Port. He reportedly told the officer he had experience with “many virgins,” could control the size of his penis, and worried about undercover police stings, the report shows.
