Kim Casey bent down behind the counter and kept an eye on the two men in the booth.

She had placed a wooden box on their table, offering homemade peppermint bark. Then, like an 8-year-old boy who slipped a whoopee cushion on his mom’s favorite seat, Kim waited for the men to open the box and lowered her head to hide her mischievous smile.
