Tina and Nicola DeFazio opened Nicola’s Italian Kitchen in Englewood 24 years ago. It was the culmination of a love affair that started in 1962, the first day Tina arrived in America from Frosinone, Italy, and met her husband-to-be, Nicola, from Catanzaro, Italy. Since day one, family has and will always be the key ingredient in their success.
Daughter Rina is the manager. Her husband, Hans, runs the kitchen and chef Ernie has been with the family for 16 years.
