I would like to introduce you to some local authors who will be at the Dearborn Street Book Festival on Feb. 15. They love to write and their books reflect that love. Roy Ault, a former Sun columnist and founder and life member of Suncoast Writers Guild , will have four of his books for sale: “‘Sudden Death’ is a book about war, love and basketball that tells the story of a high school team back in the early ’50s, that is coached by a woman teacher when the basketball coach is drafted into the Korean War.”

“The Coach” is a very irreverent book about a football coach. It chronicles Max Ivers from high school coach to college coach to the pros where he wins the Super Bowl with the Las Vegas Slots, a team comprised of misfits and miscreants.”
