March is Women’s History Month and the month in which the Military Heritage Museum holds its reception honoring women who served in the military and as “Rosies” on the home front during World War II, helping out so the men could go off to war.
This is always a great event, and I hope that you will join us to help us honor these women. Or, if you fall into one of those categories, please come in to be honored. Call me at 941-575-9002 so I can have a name tag for you. The reception will be held in the museum next Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. It is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served.
