Erik Barber came to Englewood from Seattle, where he owned a micro-brewery called the Pacific Rim Brewing Co. He did a pretty good job there. His brewery was named the best barley wine (beer) brewery on the West Coast. He went on to be a brew master and a master wine taster.
Erik brought that skill with him when he became manager of Leverock’s Restaurant at 7092 Placida Road in Placida. The head chef, Kenny Young, also brought a cooking skill set with him, having a hospitality degree from Paul Smith College and experience running restaurants in Rhode Island.
