Writers’ potpourri: How to handle criticism
Although most of us care about children, there are writers with a special place in their hearts which enables them to write for children.
I recently met Linda Schell who has written two children’s books, “Come Along With Me” and “The Palace Buzz.” Both books are about the adventures of Gracie, a dwarf kangaroo and Gibson, a Maine coon cat. Gracie and Gibson become friends. In the first book, they are on a farm in Pennsylvania Gracie dreams of going to Saint Petersburg, Russia. In the second book, “The Palace Buzz,” she and Gibson do get there.
