Bill Tursellino never lived in Colorado. For the last 35 years, he’s been here in Port Charlotte. So imagine his surprise when he got a letter informing him under Colorado law, he was being notified that negative information was added to his National Consumer Telecom & Utilities Exchange (NCTUE) file.
The letter explained NCTUE is a credit reporting agency. Calling a toll-free number, he’d get a free disclosure copy of his file.
