North Port Concert Band conductor Dennis Silkebakken haa played professionally with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony, The Miami Philharmonic Orchestra, the Miami Beach Symphony, Miami Ballet Company, and the Opera Guild of Greater Miami. Silkebakken holds a Ph.D. in music education from the University of Oklahoma and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music from Florida State University.

The North Port Concert Band would be presenting its concert, “Give My Regards to Broadway!” at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 22 at the Performing Arts Center, off Price Boulevard.

The evening will be an offering of a review of the Best of Broadway.
