Wrestling builds more than muscle

Mike Schyck was the obvious choice when the Englewood YMCA set out to start a youth wrestling program.

Schyck, who serves as the branch’s Wellness and Aquatics director, is a longtime resident of Englewood and an active member of the community. He’s also a two-time high school wrestling state champion and former Division I All-American who still competes in wrestling competitions all over the world.
