MURDOCK — The same two individuals who filed separate ethics charges against Charlotte County Commissioner Tricia Duffy, unsuccessfully, are criticizing the state’s review process after two more of their formal complaints were dismissed against Commissioner Chris Constance.
Duffy was cleared of conflict-of-interest charges relating to her vote in favor of $9 million in tax increment financing for Parkside improvements. Residents Robert Herriman and David Kesselring made similar allegations against Constance, who also supported the plan, claiming he stands to benefit financially from the Parkside project.
