Maple was left in her home with seven other cats after her former owner moved away. Thankfully, she was found and brought to us in good health, despite being very hungry. She is quite a pretty little thing, with a shiny white bib and matching paws. She’s now ready to go to her forever home. Do you think it could be with you? Come to Suncoast Humane Society at 6781 San Casa Drive, Englewood. Call 941-474-7884 or visit www.humane.org for more information.

His name is Speedy but his foster dad calls him Pal. This little dog is a 3-year-old, neutered male Chihuahua mix who is very docile and loves to sit on your lap. He is a great companion animal because he is friendly to everyone and likes other animals. He walks well on a leash and is housebroken. For more information, call Deva at 941-681-3877. Check out the treasures in the EARS thrift store. All donations of household items and clothes are accepted. Cash or credit card donations are always appreciated. EARS Animal Intake Facility, located at 2021 Englewood Road, Suite A, Englewood, is open from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday for cat and kitten adoptions. Call Petra at 941-883-1713 for an appointment. To see all EARS adoptable animals, visit 145 W. Dearborn St., Englewood, or check out all our animals on Petfinder.com.
