Venice Middle School recently received a grant from Ed explorer SrQ that teaching artist Pam Sumner will use with students.

The students will have the opportunity to work with authentic materials, grinding their own ink and using handmade brushes imported from China. Students will learn how to paint calligraphy with Chinese bamboo wolf hair brushes.
