ENGLEWOOD — An Italian artist known as “Penelope” is fascinated how nature can be worked into architecture.
The award-winning artist Chiara Cocchi, who goes by “Penelope,” created a new series of pencil drawings of local places and things in nature, and is having an open house Saturday. Her collection is called “Florida and its nature through the eyes of an Italian artist.” The exhibition will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ringling Museum of Art and Ringling’s Englewood Art Center, 350 S. McCall Road.
