The Placida Rotary Club presented Tom Dignam with its Ann Dever Memorial Award at a Christmas party at the Hills Restaurant. Dever was a member of the Placida Rotary Club and is credited with starting Kids Needs, an Englewood nonprofit, before her death to help the children of Englewood. Dignam helped launch the organization after Ann told him about her idea to help the less fortunate children of Englewood, some of whom were homeless. He continues to help Kids Needs. Dignam is pictured with his wife Annette. The award was presented by Ann’s husband, Chuck Dever.
