In addition to being instrumental in the building of the Englewood YMCA facilities, in 2011, Tom Dignam was presented with the Ann Dever
Memorial Award by the Placida Rotary Club for helping found Kids' Needs of Greater Englewood. Dignam helped to launch the organization after Dever told him about her idea to help the less-fortunate children of Englewood, some of whom were homeless. Dignam is pictured with his wife Annette.
