Charles W. “Charlie” Conner of Englewood, Fla., passed away Dec. 24, 2013.

He was born Oct. 15 1938, in Westbrook, Maine.

Charlie worked at the S.D. Warren mill in Westbrook. He served in the National Guard and was called up for the Cuban Missile Crisis. Charlie moved to Vermont in 1966, with his family to work for IBM where he retired from. He had a great life enjoying golf, hunting, fishing, and all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom he loved to take photo graphs and videos of.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 54 years, Jeannette F.( Martin) Conner; daughters, Laurie Conner of Richmond, Vt., and Cheryl Conner of Enosburg Falls, Vt., five grandchildren, Jessica, Justin, Joshua, Stacey, and Christy; and three great-grandchildren, Kaylena, Jace, and Everett; brothers, William, Daniel, and James. Charlie was preceded in death by his son, Ronald; and his brother, John.

There will be a celebration of life this spring in Vermont. In Lieu of flowers, please send donations to a charity of your choice.
