Warner E. Kesecker

Warner E. “Corky” Kesecker, 80, of Englewood, Fla., passed away Friday, April 25, 2014, at Tidewell Hospice House in Englewood, with his family by his side.

He was born Dec. 8, 1933, in Martinsburg, W.Va., to Lloyd L. and Alice M. (nee Bowers) Kesecker.

Corky retired from State Farm Insurance Co. in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., in 1996, after 25 years of service. He moved to Florida 18 years ago from Berkeley Springs.

Mr. Kesecker was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Englewood. He loved to ride his scooters.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 20 years, Gail; son, Kent (Terry) Kesecker of Berkeley Springs; daughter, Cheryl (Curtis) Keesecker of Martinsburg; stepson, Kevin (Genevieve) Miller of Berkeley Springs; two sisters, Lila Blink of Inwood, W.Va., and Phyllis Butler of Berkeley Springs; brother, Norman Kesecker of Berkeley Springs; six grandchildren, Tyler, Courtney, Brance, Kacie, Elizabeth and Emily; and two great-grandchildren, Bentley and Canyon.

Funeral Services will be conducted from Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home Inc. in Berkeley Springs. The family request contributions in Mr. Kesecker’s memory be made to Tidewell Hospice Inc., 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238. You may share a memory with the family at
