Theodore J. “Ted” Dinko, 68, of Englewood, Fla., passed away Friday, May 23, 2014, in Venice, Fla.
He was born Sept. 22, 1945, in Detroit, Mich., the son of Michael and Edith Dinko-Separa.
Ted was a past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Fr. Michael Cottrell Council 7672. He served in the U.S. military.
He was the loving brother of Michael, Mary Ann (Tom) Carlson, Tom, Marty, Judith (Donn) Sinclair, Susan, Karen (Mike) Tucker, Dennis, Pat (Diane) and David; and is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Ted was preceded in death by his siblings, Nancy and John; and his parents.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014, at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home, 170 Honore Ave., Sarasota, FL 34232. He also will lie in state from 9:30 a.m. until a 10 a.m. Mass Friday, May 30, 2014, at St. Francis Assisi Catholic Church, 5265 Placida Road, Grove City (Englewood), Fla.
