PORT CHARLOTTE —
A man arguing with his wife “over her going back to work as a stripper” turned physical, leading to his arrest Monday morning, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.
William Aaron Holmberg, 21, of the 2100 block of Broad Ranch Drive in Port Charlotte, was charged with felony battery and false imprisonment after he allegedly “became violent and started pushing and shoving (his wife) around the residence” during an argument Saturday afternoon about her choice of profession, the report states. The victim then allegedly said she wanted to leave, but Holmberg blocked the doorway and wouldn’t let her, according to the report.
