JV Lady Mantas blast DeSoto

All six of these Lady Mantas scored a goal in Lemon Bay's 6-0 win over DeSoto County. Shannon Reyes (6), Angelina Beach (21), Caitlin Montgomery (9), Cassidy Odnbach (8), Mel Saaby (2) and Alezandria Medico (14).

ENGLEWOOD — The Lemon Bay High School girls junior varsity soccer team dropped their opening game to Cape Coral 1-0 but evened their record to 1-1 with a 6-0 pounding of the DeSoto County Bulldogs on Nov. 7.

The Mantas scored early and often. Caitlin Montgomery scored within the first 15 seconds of the opening whistle and the Mantas never let up as they scored all six of their goals in the first half.
