PORT CHARLOTTE — The Lemon Bay High School junior varsity softball team blasted 11 hits to go along with eight walks to sweep the Pirates in the season series with a 9-3 win at Port Charlotte on April 2. Their first meeting resulted in a mercy rule shortened game with a 16-1 Manta win.

The Mantas used a balanced attack as everyone in the starting lineup except one got at least one hit, with winning pitcher Brianna Kane leading the way with a perfect 3-3 night.
