ANAHEIM, Calif. — Ultimately, Oakland lost to the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday night, but the game will be remembered for one astonishing throw by Athletics left fielder Yoenis Cespedes.

He kept the game tied at 1 in the eighth with a throw that will be a fixture on highlight reels for years, cutting down Howie Kendrick at the plate with a 300-foot heave on the fly from deep down the left-field line.
