George H Bush ( 41 ) during his presidential campaign prior to the 1989 election which he won, stated those famous words. “ Read my lips, No new taxes.” Those words have gone down in history and they were not true.

Present President Barack Obama made a few statements that will also go down in history. When he was selling the Affordable Health act to the American people. And I quote.

1: “ If you like your health care plan, you will be able to keep your health care plan. Period. No one will take it away. No matter what. “ Not True 2: “ If you like your Doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor. Period. “ Not True 3: “ I will sign a universal health care bill into law by the end of my first term as president that will cover every American and cut the cost of a typical family’s premium by up to $2,500 a year “ Not True 4: “ I can make a firm pledge. Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes.” Not true. This law will affect me very little personally. Yet, I do have children and grandchildren that it will affect. I feel certain many of you do as well. I do believe all people should have health insurance for themselves and their families. But honestly, how many of us would have approved this law built on lies that hurts tens of millions of Americans, just to further Barack Obama’s political goals it is immoral and unjust.

I also wonder how future generations will remember these famous statements?
