I respect Geraldo Rivera’s integrity because he always admits to and defends his liberal beliefs and points of view.
There should be no doubt that when chatting with political commentators like Brett Baier, Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity and others he’s always defending the progressive/leftist aspect of the case. The First Amendment to our Constitution protects Gerlado’s personal rights in that regard!
I don’t know if the French philosopher Voltaire actually said it but he allegedly was quoted: “I disagree with what you say but I will defend to death your right to say it.”
What caught my attention this time was his” objective” line of questioning when he interviewed another television journalist, Ms. Liza Wahl, in his own Fox News television program, Geraldo at Large.
The main reason for Ms. Wahl’s appearance on Geraldo’s show was because of her resignation as an anchor reporter from a Russian television station while her program was still on the air. Gerald asked Liz if she wasn’t aware when she was hired that part of her job would be involved in disseminating the political indoctrination in that country and she emphatically responded, “I was hired as a reporter not a propagandist.”
Bravo, bravisimo! What a clear response … I can’t stop thinking about it and I want to say one more time: Bravo, Liz, bravisimo! It is refreshing, commendable and admirable the understanding of the responsibility of an anchor/person of a televised program.
Every journalist or interviewer in our country should follow Liz’s example. Yes, every one of them has the indelible rights of their very own personal opinion, conviction and political inclination. But when acting as a professional in that field they must shield themselves from any and all partiality. It is their duty and obligation to explore and disclose the truth and only but the truth with the help of God.
As part of the fourth branch of our government, the reporting from the liberal news media need and should be only to expose real facts. They must stop being the propaganda machine of the policies and dictates of the current administration!
Hello debate moderators, are you listening … ? It could be that if was not for an inadequate intervention by the moderator in one of the 2012 presidential debates, our country might not be facing the present chaos and turmoil we’re experiencing today.
This is a free warning to the liberal conglomerate: You’ll be sorry when an absolute censorship is imposed in our country and you’re not the selected one to be the official mouthpiece of a consolidated dictatorial socialist form of government.
