Christine Reynolds Dolin, 82, of Lake Wales, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, at the Winter Haven Hospital.
She was born Aug. 15, 1930, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Jessie M. and Bertha (Thomas) Baker and has been a resident of the area since 1979 moving here from Melbourne, Fla. Christine was a homemaker, a very active member of the South Lake Wales Church of God, and from 1974 until 1982 was very active in the Florida State Youth Church of God, and her responsibilities caused her to travel all over the state.
Survivors include her husband Melvin Dolin; daughters, Sheila J. (Rev. James) Daniel of Clarksville, Tenn., and Traci L. (John) Kaspar of Las Vegas, Nev.; sons, Lawrence C. Reynolds Jr. of Anderson, Ind., and Michael W. Reynolds of Lake Wales; brother, Ronald Baker of Cincinnati; sisters, Bonnie Taylor of Mason, Ohio, and Pearl Johnson of Latham, N.Y.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Christine was preceded in death by her first husband, Virgil L. Holt in 1963; and second husband, Dr. Lawrence Reynolds in 1999.
Funeral services was held at noon Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at the South Lake Wales Church of God with the Rev. James Daniel and Dr. Steven Darr officiating.
Inurement is in Anderson, Ind. Family received friends Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home.
