Frostproof's Cecil Cherry steam rolls this defender during action last Friday as the Bulldogs easily defeated Bishop McLaughlin in the Class 3A, District 4 opener for both teams. It was the fourth straight win to open the season for Frostproof, but the road gets tougher this week when they travel to Hardee before returning home Oct. 5 to host district favorite Tampa Catholic. The competition in Class 3A District 4 figures to get much tougher in the coming weeks for Frostproof. But it was a breeze for the Bulldogs Friday night as they flattened the Bishop McLaughlin Hurricanes 56-0.

The Bulldogs, who improved their record to 4-0, recorded their second consecutive shutout.
