It was Senior Night but Frostproof marked the occasion by putting together an uninspired performance that included lots of penalties and a couple of costly fumbles.
Berkeley Prep came out on top with a 21-3 victory Friday night at Faris Brannen Stadium on Friday night.
It was the last game of the regular season for the Bulldogs. They will have a bye next week and then head into the playoffs on Nov. 15.

A bad snap from center rolled into the end zone where the Buccaneers recovered to put them ahead by a comfortable margin. Iglehart converted the PAT and it was 21-3 with 7:34 to go in the third quarter,
Kaleel Gaines gave the Bulldogs a lift by returning the ensuing kickoff to the Berkeley 40. However, Frostproof wasn’t able to take advantage of the great field position as the Bulldogs fumbled the ball at the Buccaneers 12.
Frostproof finished with an overall mark of 7-3 and 3-2 in the district.
Berkeley’s record improved to 4-4 and 2-3 in the district.
