This will be the eighth year that the Tanglewood Art League has created a wonderful Art Exhibition and Sale. The theme for the 2018 Exhibition is “The Painting Masters.”

The artists are Leonardo da Vinci, Paul Cezanne, Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Henri Matisse and Georgia O’Keeffe.

The date with these masters is Saturday, Jan. 20, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Tanglewood Community Clubhouse, located opposite Denny’s Restaurant on U.S. 27 North in Sebring.

The Tanglewood Art League will have its annual scholarship raffle. The cost is $5 for seven raffle tickets. The money collected will be awarded to a student artist attending the college and presented at their Juried Student Art Exhibition which is held in April. The drawing will be offering two original artworks. One is an acrylic painting, “Sea Mist,” from our own Tanglewood Art League member, Virginia Eisen, and the second, a digital photograph, “Pygmy Fringe Tree,” is from Karla Respress, an Art Instructor at South Florida State College. The Pygmy Fringe Tree is an endangered wildflower that grows in the sandy hill scrubs of Central Florida.

As always, all the art displayed is presented by resident members of the Tanglewood Art League. Light refreshments will be served. Come join the TAL for a stimulating afternoon. All are welcome.
