SEBRING — The Heartland Harmonizers Annual Installation of Officers and BOTY (Barbershopper of the Year) Award ceremony was held recently at Victoria’s Spring Lake Resort. The 2017 BOTY was presented to Joshua Fowler.

The BOTY Award is given each year to the one member of the Heartland Harmonizers, who exemplifies the qualities of leadership and outstanding contributions to the Chapter’s wellbeing.

Fowler is a 17-year-old talented senior at Sebring High School, a member of the Show Chorus, active in his church, outgoing secretary of the Heartland Harmonizers Chorus in Sebring and member of the Tampa Bay Heralds of Harmony Chorus.

Josh and his dad Chris both joined the Heartland Harmonizer Chapter in October, 2016. Fowler has been assistant director of the chorus for a year and took over for Matt Clancy (director) while he was out of commission for three weeks, after planned surgery.

Josh is headed to Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama after graduation.
