Girl Scouts help local cat rescue

SEBRING — Ms. Ruth LaCombe and her Girl Scout Troop 663 paid a surprise visit to Heartland Cat Rescue & Adoption Society, Inc.during their Saturday adoption event at the local PetCo store. The girls have been collecting food, clean linens and cleaning supplies for the kitties for a while. While there, the troop interacted with the cats and kittens that were up for adoption.

“Thank you Ruth and your amazing Troop 663,” said Susan Rankine of Heartland Cat Rescue. “We appreciate all the cat food and goodies and all the work you did to put this together for us!”
