BALANCE Lives in Transition Inc., a nonprofit for Behavioral Health and Dual Diagnosis, offers several group meetings in Sebring.

BALANCE offers a Peer to Peer support group every Wednesday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Good Shepherd Hospice on Herring Ave. in Sebring. Those with a mental diagnosis or a substance abuse problem are welcomed to discuss any concerns.

Qi-Gong, a Chinese breathing exercise, is offered to members for relaxation and rejuvenation before, during or after group.

In addition, a new group has been formed for people suffering from self-inflicted injuries. The peer group meets at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Sebring every second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
