Unity Life Enrichment Centre will host its 5th annual Heartland Traditional English Tea at 2 p.m. Saturday. “Women and young ladies are invited to experience this wonderful tradition while having the opportunity to spend time enjoying all the wonderful teas and foods provided,” said Anneta Kraus.

Known for its exquisite food, delectable teas, and elegant settings the annual tea is a highlight of spring activities for many Highlands County women. Seating is in demand each year, so reservations are highly encouraged.

“The tea is a wonderful opportunity for women in our area to gather for a lovely event, enjoy one another’s company and to lend financial support to local nonprofit organizations that assist women in their moment of need,” Kraus said. “We suggest grandmothers and mothers bring their daughters and granddaughters. The event has always proven to be a great time for women of all ages. The younger ones truly have a ball dressing up and playing grown-up.”

A special program focusing on local women who have made huge contributions to our area will be featured along with music provided by Adam Ray. Door prizes will also be awarded.

A donation will be received during the event.

Personal and corporate sponsorships are still available. For information or to make reservations call 863-471-1122. or email Unity Life Enrichment Centre is at 10417 S. Orange Blossom Blvd.
