TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — A fire at an RV park in Tampa has left one man dead.

Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to the Bay Bayou RV Park Saturday at about 8 p.m.

Firefighters found 54-year-old Elfton Mace sitting outside a camper engulfed in flames. He had been rescued by two neighbors and had visible burn injuries.

Mace was transported by medical helicopter to a trauma center. He later died.
