MidFlorida Credit Union has opened a new branch location at 300 Ambersweet Way in Davenport. The 3,914-square-foot Four Corners branch — aptly named for its proximity to the point where four counties meet at the northeast corner of Polk County — opened Monday, March 19.

Features of the remodeled building include a drive-up ATM, five interior teller windows, four lobby offices, and four drive-thru lanes providing 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. service — a MidFlorida standard — as well as Saturday hours.

“Expanding our branch network to the far reaches of the county allows us to provide our products and services to members in those outlying areas,” said Kevin Jones, MidFlorida’s President and CEO. “As we continue to grow, we are always looking for locations that will best serve our membership where they work and live.”

The Four Corners location brings MidFlorida’s branch count to 33 within its Central Florida service area.

A grand opening celebration at the Four Corners branch is planned for Friday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Festivities will include free lunch, bingo with prizes, and door prizes, including an iPad 3 giveaway.

MidFlorida is a state-chartered financial institution headquartered in Lakeland, serving more than 150,000 members with assets over $1.6 billion through a network of 33 branches, 40 ATMs, and through its website, MidFlorida Credit Union is open for membership to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school within their service area of 14 central Florida counties.
