Andy Vega, 24, of Sebring died unexpectedly Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013.
Born Dec. 13, 1988, in Cuba to Belkis and Juan Miguel Vega-Perez, he moved to this country from Cuba in 2002 and settled in Highlands County. Mr. Vega enjoyed riding his ATV, hunting, fishing and all outdoor activities and spending time with his family and friends. He was of the Catholic faith.
Mr. Vega is survived by his wife of four years Nicolle; daughter, Araceli; son, Andy; his mother, Belkis Acosta; father Juan Miguel Vega; stepfather Roberto Acosta; sister Joanhna; and brothers, Sandy, Jonhny, Landy and Juan Miguel.
A visitation for family and friends will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14 with funeral services to be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15 at Scott Funeral Home, 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid, with Fr. Luis Albarracin officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Avon Park.
The family suggests donations in Mr. Vega’s memory be made to Nicolle Vega in care of Bank of America to help cover expenses.
